We are doing a cruise next month that leaves out of Athens and one of the stops is Santorini. We are going a few days early to enjoy Athens prior to sailing. We are staying in the Thissio neighborhood, right next to the Apostolou Pavlou. In Santorini, the ship doesn’t leave till 10 pm giving us time to see the sunset. I give all that info for the following questions:
- I didn’t book breakfast with the “sm boutique” hotel since it seemed expensive for the options and will need to eat early before heading out to see sites ea morning. Are there any places near us or should I choose the hotel breakfast?
2.In Santorini we would like to relax in Fira and see the sunset. There are 7 ships in the same day. I know I will need to make reservations and it won’t be cheap for this experience. Any suggestions for great views with acceptable food and/or drinks close to the cable car? I know it will take a while to get down and tender back to the ship.
Any other suggestions of restaurants in either location or Mykonos would be greatly appreciated. TIA
