Which is a better place for renting a boat for a day?

Sail or power? Captain and crew or self-sail? How long? And where do you want to go? How many people and how much are you prepared to spend (de luxe and fully inclusive or bargain where you provide all the food and drink)?

I’m looking at just a day or a half day with a power. Probably self or rent a captain. I’m not going to break the bank but I’d consider splurging a little.

Had a quick look on Google - boat rental followed by name of Island. Mykonos slightly cheaper than Santorini.
