We are taking a cruise for one week, returning May 29 in Pireaus. We then drive to Corinth area and will explore Peloponnese.
We fly home JUne 9.
Should we rent a car in Pireaus and return it to the airport, or take a cab from the port to the airport to rent a car. Then we can return it to the airport on June 9th?
It is a long ride from Pireaus to the airport so is it worth to go there to rent the car?

Many car rental companies at the airport also have an office in Piraeus. Even those with only a downtown office can deliver the car to the city center, Piraeus, or the airport, and sometimes even to your hotel. The same applies to returning the car.

So it would be pointless and a waste of time (and money) to go to the airport just to pick up a car, especially since it will take you less time to reach the Peloponnese from Piraeus than from the airport.
You will need to specify which cruise terminal you would like the car delivered to.
We rented from Athens Car Rental in September. They delivered our car to our hotel for 35 euros and we returned to the airport. They also deliver to the port. I didn't think it was worth the time or money to go to the airport. We had a good experience with them. https://www.athens-carrental.com/
