We would like to rent a car for one day to tour the island and visit beaches and towns on Paros. We will be there at the end of May. Is it best to book this advance or just rent on site? Which would offer the better price? We would probably pick the car up at the port in Parikia. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which company to rent from?

Sorry I can't recommend a rental company on Paros but I can tell you that every one of them has had no cash flow for the past 6 months and will be wanting your business. Just visit a few agencies and ask them for prices terms insurance and deductibles then choose the one that provides the best price service and terms.

Good advice from Stanbr. If you're arriving by ferry you will walk off the ship and proceed to the street where you will see at least one rental office across from the ferry wharf. Turn left and walk along the marina to find more.

We rented from Hertz in the port which was pretty reasonable and convenient.
