Recommended Santorini Accommodations?

Hello,
If you've stayed in Santorini, can you share where you stayed if you enjoyed the stay, found it clean, comfortable, and affordable, and very importantly practical to get to and from without a car? Any perks (e.g., a view or pool, etc.)?
Thank you!

Thanks for the prompt Princess pupule! Late June, solo, and reasonably fit but will be carrying roller carry on and a carry on backpack. Budget? I'm only there a few nights but with a longer trip to follow just after, I think I'm aiming for 3 nights at max 600CAD. Not likely to get big views...but cozy and charming and clean and convenient are important...

Late June/ early Jly probably too late to book a room w a pool & view at your budget. My top budget fave is dear Villa Fotina, at edge of FIrostephani ... 20 yards from the rimside wall 12 rooms, with balcony, crisp white linen, lovely young manager/owner ... just same distance from oldest, most authentic Taverna in Santorini , Aktaion .. with tables right by the wall & pathway. 100 yards downhill from there (away from view) Hotel Margarita has a pool, at decent rates.

Elsewhere on rimside in Firostephani if u r lucky, Hotel Milos, all rooms w caldera balconies, also Sunset Hotel w large lovely shared rooftop terrace. Nearby, Remvi Cafe has stunning caldera views and sane pricing, for sunset dining without the madness of OIA.

All these are away from the hubbub, but easy walk along rimsside path to the attractions, shops cafes, nightlife of Fira. Also each is only few yards from Firostephani bus stop taking you to the Fira central "bus yard" where you can catch b us down to the ferry pier. If you stay at Villa Fotini, tell Maria that Janet from Philly sent you.

We stayed for three nights last October in Firostefani, at the Santorini View Studios.

We booked their top suite so had a stunning view from a terrace with our own hot tub which was lovely.

That was about 300 Euro per night including breakfast, so I assume more than you want to pay, but I have no idea what Canadian currency is worth.

They had a variety of other much, much cheaper rooms though, we just decided to splurge for the view. All rooms would have a view since they are at the top of the rim over the caldera and walkable to many bars and restaurants, including the ones mentioned in the posts above.
