My husband and I will be visiting Santorini and Naxos for 3 days each following the RS Sept 2017 Greece Tour. We would like to book a guided tour on each island with a trusted, knowledgeable tour guide. Please share any recommendations/experiences you may have with contact information. Many thanks.

We did the Greece tour in 2015 and absolutely loved it! We flew to Naxos after the tour and stayed for 4 nights, then took the ferry to Santorini and stayed in Oia for 2 nights. We did not have a guide on Naxos because we were at the beach the whole time (planned that as down time). On Santorini, we had Kostas as a tour guide for the day. He picked us up at our hotel around lunchtime, drove us all around the island, then dropped us at the airport for our 8:30 pm flight back to Athens. We planned the late flight on purpose, giving us all day on Santorini. We stayed at the Sofitel Athens airport before our 11:00am flight the next day. The Sofitel is literally 100 feet across the street from the airport, and it's the only hotel that allows paper flushing. It's easiest to go to Naxos then Santorini because that's the way the flights/ferries travel. If you go to Santorini first, then Naxos, you have to go to Athens in between, if that makes sense. We bought our ferry tickets from Naxos to Santorini our first day in Athens, before the tour started. There are several travel agencies that sell them as a walk-in service. It was super easy. We enjoyed Greece so much we're planning time on Crete in a few years (have a few other trips to get in first). The link for Kostas is below. Have fun!
