Recommendations for Santorini boat tours

Looking for recommendations for a boat tour of the caldera that includes getting off the boat, swimming and possibly snorkeling. Also, has anyone rented a boat on their own? Sea Breeze Santorini has boat rentals that look interesting. We have four people, so the price to rent our own boat vs join a tour isn’t crazy.

Any recommendations appreciated. Thank you!

I can’t speak to the benefits of renting your own boat, but I did take the Catamaran tour (red hulls) about 5 years ago that was recommended in RS Guide. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Money well spent!!. The crew was friendly and professional. We swam at the caldera and at least one other beach area. They provided floatation vests and snorkeling gear. There was a large covered area with seating for shade as well as areas to sunbathe if you wanted. The lunch included was very good and it was nice to have a bathroom available. Of course, the views from the water are amazing!
As a solo traveler, another great benefit was to meet and chat with travelers from all over the world.
All in all it ranked as some of the best travel money I’ve spent ;)

Check out Spiridakos Sailing Cruises. We took the half day catamaran that included snorkeling and lunch and were very satisfied with the entire experience. Excellent crew, beautiful vessel, several stops and great lunch. It looks like they offer a variety of options that might meet your requirements. Highly recommend! https://www.santorini-yachts.com/
