Recommendations for Catamaran in Santorini

My husband and I are interested in taking one of the luxury catamaran tours while in Santorini the first week in October. I have no idea which tour to book as each one looks exactly the same! Does anyone have a recommendation or tips on how to choose? I don't think we want to do sunset, we'd prefer a daytime one. However, if the sunset ones are really great, I'd be glad to hear why. We already have a great hotel room on the caldera so I imagine we will be able to see the sunset other ways.

All of the options appear exactly the same online. They stop at the same spots, include hotel pickup/return, and claim "luxury", "BBQ lunch" and "open bar". How do I know which one to choose? We'd really prefer to have good food and drink options on the boat, a nice boat, and avoid a crowded boat, and we're not interested in anything with lots of kids.. We would like a much more adult experience on the boat. We have done these boat tours before in Mexico, but this is our first trip to Greece. Thanks!

We did a sunset cruise with santorini yatching club in July. We took the “semi private “ comfort sunset cruise. It was the cheapest of the three levels, I also wanted a luxury situation but the two higher levels were sold out for our dates. Upon more reading the major difference was the alcohol, our level only included santorini white wine, next level included beer and ouzo also, top level had cocktails too. Since I don’t drink at all and my husband usually would have just a glass of wine I decided to book the low level. Well the service was great the food was excellent and sunset phenomenal. 14 people and 3 crew on the boat. Only complaint I could say is not enough table space to eat dinner for 14. And yes I spilled (big wave came up as I was trying to sit down ) and it was quickly resolved, the staff had obviously done this before. There were two kids from a family but no issues. And with wine only people can still get completely blasted. I did wonder if those two were going to be able to get onto the dinghy to transfer to land in the large waves, but they did with the help of two crew members, who clearly knew they needed extra help.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I looked at Santorini Yachting Club's website and it looks exactly like what we are hoping to do! I see what you mean about the levels... no difference in experience besides the food/drink options. I'm glad you had a nice time with them and I will put them on my list of providers to choose from! Thanks again.

Take a look at Captain Ted's Blue Lagoon Cruises.

I used Santorini Yachting Club. I did the sunset tour but found plenty of morning ones with minimal people. Oh ours it was 14 people or less.

Thanks TinaB for asking, we are planning to do a catamaran cruise in October too and was unsure which options are better.

Thanks for sharing your experiences - came to this forum to check reviews for Santorini Yachting Club‘s sunset cruise - so this is very helpful! From pick up to drop off, how long was it in total?

We used Spiradakos Yacht Cruises and were very pleased. Great crew, lunch onboard was very good, catamaran was not crowded and there were no kids. It checked all the boxes for us!
