Recommendations? Athens, Meteora, Delphi and buses

I've posted a question (in the wrong sub-forum, apparently, and got told off for doing so) asking for recommendations for moderately priced accommodation in Athens, around Meteora and Delphi. Also about any experiences with long distance bus travel on KTEL.
Please see my post on the reviews sub forum, as the site won't let me re-post it here.
Thanks!

Athens accommodation: Hotel Phaedra (https://hotelphaedra.com/). In the Plaka, at the foot of the Acropolis, great food nearby, central to everything.

Meteora accommodation: Doupiani House (https://www.doupianihouse.gr/). In Kastraki, so difficult by public transport. At the foot of the Meteora pillars. Nice hotel bar and patio.

Meteora tours: Visit Meteora (https://visitmeteora.travel/).

I would recommend renting a car and driving. Public transport will take you (inefficiently) to city centres, but not many of the sites you want to see. Too much time waiting for connections.

It's always best to provide a actual budget rather than "moderately priced" as that could mean different things to different people.

There is a wide range of accommodations and prices for Athens and something for everyone.

The best places to stay are in Monistiraki, Plaka, Psirri and Syntagma Square.

Don't overlook areas to the south and west of the Acropolis where it tends to be far less crowded and still more "Greek" than the usual tourist zones.

I can't help with Meteora and Delphi.

KTEL bus service is generally good. Nice clean buses and less expensive but it will take time to get to Delphi/Meteora. It would be best to stay at least one night with 2 better at each location to give you more time at the sites.
