We’re looking for cooking class recommendations in Chaina, Crete since the weather forecast will not allow us to hike Samaria Gorge as planned. Also seeking activity reimmendations(possible day excursions to avoid the rain) near Chaina(other than museums which we have done).

Look for a hamam - there should be several in the old city (we were there - in Chania - last week, before the weather changed…did not do a hamam but saw a couple). Ask your hotel for a rec.
FWIW the weather forecast doesn’t look that bad today - mostly just vey windy, only a little rain - but tomorrow looks quite rainy all day.
We’re currently a bit east of you, near Heraklion. Today we’re going to try and do some walks out around the rugged coast if it stays dry, and hit the sauna at our hotel.
