Hi all,
Has anyone used R. Steves Athens Citywalk to tour Athens? If so, did you find it fairly easy to navigate?
Thanks for your advice.

Hi, Do you mean navigate as far as not get lost? Or navigate as far as easy walking? We used it a couple of years ago. It was pleasant and takes you though a part of Athens that you wouldn't expect to be there.
I remember there were some steep places and quite a few steps if that's the kind of navigation you are asking about. I also remember that we got lost once--I think it was by a spot where you were supposed to turn at a church??? We didn't get too far before we knew we had gone the wrong way. It was easy to go back and then it took some looking to find the correct way to go.
We enjoyed it and would recommend it as long as you can handle steep streets and steps.
We followed it this May when we were in Athens, breaking it up into two days. It is an easy tour and I would recommend taking some stops along the way. The walking wasn’t too streneous.
We followed the walk a few weeks ago. We also split it into 2 days. We had a bit of confusion at Church of Kapnikarea but it was quickly resolved with help from a maps app. We enjoyed the walk.
