I’m trying to purchase tickets to the Acropolis on the official website (from my phone). I see them in my electronic basket and then I click “continue to purchase” and then it says I have no tickets in my basket. Is anybody else having this problem? Anyone know a solution? From what I can tell, it’s nothing to do with cookies or permissions on my phone.
We recently had a problem with the Acropolis official site in May, with the exact same thing happening. Finally I noticed on the order page there were actually no tickets available for the entry time I wanted.
I found Headout Bookings at headout.com and was able to purchase my tickets for 8:00 am the next morning for the South entrance. I downloaded their app (recommended) and was able to get the tickets on my phone. Entry was smooth and the south entrance was much better…less crowded entry, though there is a bit of a climb to get to the top. We were fourth in line, beat much of the crowd. By the time we left the Parthenon and headed down there was a sea of people coming up through the main entrance.
It's a stupid web site.
There are tiny green and red dots in front of the timings
Even if there is a red dot in front it allows you to add it to the basket. Then at checkout your basket is empty.
Whoever designed this shouldfind another job, ideally not in IT.
I just used a PC and had no problems. Which website are you trying to use?
I tried today and it doesn’t work at all. Any tips? I’m using etickets.tap.gr and a Microsoft Internet filler page comes up. I’ve tried 3 browsers and 2 different devices.
first of all, make sure you are using the official website. What website are you using?
https://hhticket.gr/tap_b2c_new/english/tap.exe?PM=P1P&place=000000002
I’m using etickets.tap.gr
"etickets.tap.gr" is the old website which is no longer in service.
Use the one Carol now gave you above
