Anybody know of a private travel guide in Crete? This will be for a group of 6. Thanks

Returned last night from Greece and had a wonderful tour guide in Crete, Spiro from ToursinHeraklion.com.
It was an absolutely amazing cultural experience. We toured an olive oil factory, the Lasithi plateau, a pottery making shop, and the Knossos Palace. Spiro is from Heraklion and spent his childhood in the plateau. He had great knowledge of the culture, olive oil production, shepherds and beekeepers. We had an olive oil tasting at a factory, enjoyed wine at the plateau, stopped at his mother's village, had coffee at a local cafe, ate real Greek yogurt with local honey at his mother's home (with no additional cost to us). There was never any pressure to purchase anything as he paid even when we offered. He could not give us a tour of Knossos Palace because he is not a licensed tour guide. There were several tour guides outside the palace offering historical tours of Knossos. Spiro picked us up at 9am in a Mercedes van and we returned at 4pm. Great fun with a gregarious guide. I give it 5 stars.
