Prescription meds

We are traveling to Italy and Greece in about a week. I intended to put the 3 medications I take into a weekly pill case. In Italy, they do not have to be in original prescription containers. What is the actual “law” (not just the “recommendation”) for Greece?

By co-incidence, this was in a travel magazine today:
Greece
You’re allowed to travel with up to five different prescribed medicines for personal use, but you can take no more than two boxes of each medicine. If you have to travel with more, you might be required to obtain permission from the Greek National Organization for Medicines when you arrive. Government advice states there are strict rules around dispensing certain medicines in Greece, including antibiotics. Bring prescription medicines with you and carry a letter from your doctor stating the quantity required during your stay. Keep the medication in the original container with the prescription label and ensure the name matches your passport. Codeine is a controlled substance in Greece and a doctor’s prescription is needed in all cases, so you can’t bring in medications that contain codeine and were bought over the counter in the UK

What my wife and I do, and have been doing for several years, is put only the amounts we need for our trip into smaller medication bottles with the names of the meds written on them. I take 3 meds, she takes 3 as well. We’ve never had an issue whatsoever whether entering Italy or Greece. One of her meds is a liquid controlled substance for her occasional anxiety. Never been asked about it, never had any officials ask for documentation for any of them.
