Prepaid Cellphone SIM in Greece

I will be traveling all around the Peloponnese for about 3 weeks. I will need a prepaid SIM card, mostly for internet access. I would be interested to know which mobile providers have the best coverage and prices for that area. I probably need about 1 Gb of data, total. Does anybody have any experience with this?

The 3 major "players" are Cosmote, Vodafone and Wind. Cosmote SIMs can be purchased at the airport in the Germanos Store in the Secure Departures Lounge. There are Germanos Stores all over Greece.

I've read that Cosmote has the best coverage and that Wind has the best prepaid deals, but coverage is spotty. I suppose that Vodafone falls somewhere in between. Since I'm only going to be in the Peloponnese and not on any islands, I would expect that the coverage might be acceptable. Has anybody used Vodafone in that area?

I just returned from three weeks in Greece. I purchased a Votphone SIM card and it worked fine. Every place has WiFi. I mean everyplace. Phone worked everywhere we went, Athens, Hydra, Santorini and all over the Peloponnese. They do send you a lot of messages and all in Greek. Just trying to sell more time.

We will be travelling om Greece for 40 days and need coverage for 2 smartphones and 1 ipad (unlocked devices)--1/2 Gb on each. What should we expect to pay for either vodaphone or cosmonote?

I use a Vodaphone for calls and local/hotel wifi for internet access. I also have a Vodaphone sim card for Italy. This summer will be the first time I'm visiting Europe w/ an iPhone but I'm checking out the cost before I leave.
