I am looking for a recommendation for an accommodation for 3 nights, mid October, for a couple, in Athens, prior to a cruise. Acropolis view and rooftop bar and room view would be great. I have high status with Marriott if one of theirs fits the criteria. Also, any favorite restaurants, activities, tours etc. Have been to the Acropolis twice. Thanks

Hotel Attalos it has all of your wants. It is likely not in the same class as Marriott but the price, views and location are great.

Hotel hera. We stayed here pre-cruise and found out Rick steves tours also stay here. Has a roof top restaurant with view of acropolis and we paid a bit more for a room with an acropolis view. Great location, walkable to the sites.

We enjoyed the AthensWas Design Hotel which has a rooftop restaurant and is on a quiet pedestrian street only about 2 blocks from the Acropolis. We had a room with a balcony. We also would recommend a tour with Athens Walks. We met the tour right by the hotel at the Fresko Yogurt bar.

I second Hotel Attalos. We stayed there last year and the view from the roof bar is great. Best cheeseburger that I have ever had in Europe was around the corner at Monster Burgers.

I second AthensWas. Their Acropolis view rooms have terraces that have a decent view of the Parthenon. My only hesitation is I find the rooms a bit too contemporary for our taste. We have started staying at the AVA....

I chose this hotel when looking at the Marriott options, before a cruside in September. I think it meets your criteria.
