We will be traveling from Hydra to Napflio on April 4, then staying in Napflio until April 7. There is only 1 ferry from Hydra to Ermioni on April 4 (19:55-20:15). With that in mind, and the season, is there a method of transportation you would suggest? I have seen a rental car company, Pop’s Car, that would allow us to pick up in Ermioni and drop off in Napflio. Do you have any knowledge of this company? Is it reliable? Is driving this route on our own at night an advisable idea? Or would you suggest taxi or bus? Thank you so much for any information you can share.
We used Pop's for the same route in 2018. We didn't have any problems with them. I can't comment, though, on driving this route at night - I believe it was daylight when we did it.
There is an alternative "ferry" from Hydra to Ermioni.
I've not taken it but it may be an earlier option:

Not sure on a car rental but I believe Pop's is your only option.
Taxis are available but be prepared to pay a premium.
There are buses but involve at least one stop where you switch bus to Nafplio.
Here's a wonderful website for Ermioni.
They are very quick to respond to an email and possibly could advise you what your best options are (bus, private transfer, ferry):
You should contact Christos in Hydra, he may have the solution to avoid driving at night if that is what you are afraid of.

Pop's car is not only a car rental agency but also a travel agency and ferry ticket seller. It shares its office with the Ermioni tourist office.
I don't know it personally but if it was not reliable it would no longer exist.
There is no direct bus from Ermioni to Nafplio.
Edit: I have the feeliong that Tommy beat me to it on this one :))
JoLui:
I'm booked for 6 days in Ermioni mid-late April.
I've found the Argolis area a overlooked part of the Peloponnese. Other than Nafplio and the nearby archeological sites there's a lot more to see that's "off the beaten track".
I've used https://visitnafplio.com/ & https://ermioni.info/ for research in addition the Cadogan Guide to the Peloponnese.
I've found areas that hardly see any tourists, small villages either along the coast or the interior plus little known archeological sites.
I'm looking forward to my second trip to the Argolis and all I have to do is wait . . . which always the hardest part!
