Others can find the information useful even if you do not.
It is utterly dispiriting to type out a response only to have it disappear minutes later.
I wish the mods would change this, but I am shouting to the wind anyway.

I agree. Some people are so great at providing a wealth of information with links and everything, its so sad to have it disappear. I used to provide a lot. Now, sometimes, I'll briefly answer, and if it seems like the post will stay, I may add more.

I understand where you are coming from. You are always very generous and helpful on the forum. However, I know the other side as well having purposefully deleted a thread I started that took on a life of its own and actually became quite offensive (at least to me). There aren't a lot of options available when people take a thread and change it into something else. Nothing is more discouraging than starting a positive thread and some people with alternate agendas transform it in a negative quagmire.

Carol, I did the same. There are some very snarky people in this forum with nothing helpful to add, but quick to criticize your post.
