By public transport the easiest and fastest way is to take the metro from the airport to the last metro station Dimotiko Theatro.
The ticket price is 9€, there is a metro every 36 minutes and the journey takes 1 hour.
You will be only 5 minutes walk to the hotel

See the walking route below:

The hotel is very close to the Zeas marina, where many yachts belonging to wealthy people are moored and where you will find a few bars and restaurants, some rather fancy. (we spent a whole day walking around this part of Piraeus last fall)

As we are not fancy people we preferred to have lunch In the basement (that's the name of the restaurant) where the atmosphere is nice, the dishes simple and good and the clientele a bit "old school Piraeus":

We didn't eat salad there as it was recommended a few minutes earlier:

If you are interested in anything related to the navy you can visit the Hellenic Maritime Museum, I warn you that it is somewhat old fashionned.

And If you hang around the ferry port in the morning, check out the Piraeus Market, there are some nice sausages and cheeses. :)

Yes, very easy.

Watch this video, everything is explained:

But you, you will get off the train at the last station Dimotiko Theatro.

At Dimotiko Theatro you exit the metro here (no need to watch the whole video!)

Take the avenue on the right of the church then turn right 3 blocks further on Kountouriotou Street. From there you are 300 meters from the hotel.

Don't worry, the area is safe, but if this seems too adventurous and too much walking, you can of course take a taxi from the airport, It should be around 55€ (with an honest driver).

If you are interested in the history of Greece it’s also worth considering a visit to Piraeus Archeological Museum. It’s small but has some excellent bronze statues, especially that of Athena.
