Hi all,
A few of us are travelling to Greece (Athens and then Porto Heli in the Peloponnese coast) and we were wondering if they play pickleball in Greece and if there were any places to play in these areas. A google search hasn't come up with very much so any info would be much appreciated.

The prices are in dollars and the members are American, which confirms that it is a sport mainly practiced in the USA, I am afraid that the vast majority of Greeks (and Europeans) do not even know what it is.

I am proud to say that the great game of Pickleball originated in my home State of Washington. As time goes on you will see them in more destinations. ha ha donna, I bet you're right,. For Brits -- pickleball is just an easier-rule pat-ball back/forth on a tennis court, so us Oldies don't sprain something or fall down.

It's a great idea to pack a pickle-ball paddle in your bags (if you have the room) when you travel as it a great way to meet people and stay active on your vacation.

Pickleball is new to the San Francisco Bay Area but it’s becoming very, very popular and more and more parks are putting in Pickleball courts.
I found a pickleball court in Voula Athens, in Athines by the sea location. I am playing there now but I will leave Athens on Friday.

What is pickleball? Fun with a capital F. I wanted to have the equipment sent to Croatia to play but Amazon does not deliver there, yet. My husband doesn’t want to carry the net, paddles, and balls on the plane. I’m trying to convince him for our September trip.

I am in Brooklyn too. Park Slope. I play at Pier 2 sometimes. I can understand the challenge of packing the net, but we are bringing paddles and balls in our carry on and will see what we can find locally.
