Did the Best of Italy and Greece and would say they are equivalent. If the Best of Italy was manageable for you, you will do well with the Greece tour.----

I was worried about my abilities on that tour. I took one that started on April 24 and found it much less daunting than I'd expected. For me the challenge was that a lot of the up and down is on slippery uneven steps (well-worn marble) without handrails or other support and I'm not sure-footed like I used to be. My impression is that if it's not hot, it's not strenuous. The 2 days I found it a little difficult were when most of the walking was in the sun and the temps were pushing 30C.

I just looked at the Italy itinerary - didn't take the tour but I've been to most of the places. Perhaps the difference is that most of the strenuous walking on that tour is either optional (like hiking the Alpi di Suisi) or in cities, where it could mean lots of miles and/or lots of up and down, but on pavement (like Assisi). Most of the Greece tour is in ancient ruins and villages. The pace is slow enough to be comfortable.
