Peleponnese

We are planning a month long staying at the Peleponnese in September. A couple and our 7 years old daughter. Not looking to rush but to stay in 2-3 villages for the all time so we looking for the places that will fit us.

What we are looking for?
- Not a city but small-medium village. However, not too small as we would to have s supermarket, some taverns, etc.
- Close to the beach.
- Good vibes walking in small streets.

We gonna have a car with us.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

I would recommend getting a good guide book for the Peloponnese.

My favorite and I think the best is the Cadogan Guide. While it was last published in 2008 it's still very relevant with lots of suggestions on where to stay plus more info than any other guide book I've seen.

The next best would be the Bradt Guide, up to date but a more "condensed" guide than the Cadogan.

There are way to may options for where to stay so a bit more research on your part would be a starting point to find what you like

If it helps: I'm planning on a extended stay in the Peloponnese starting with Nafplio for the Argolis, then Gythio for the Mani and finally Petalidi for Messenia area. However, what I like and interested in may be different than what you like.

And a car is the best way to explore the Peloponnese.

We traveled in the Peloponnese by car April/May - we enjoyed spending time in the smaller villages…Gythio, Koroni, and Pylos.
