Patmos in November

Our group tour ends in Athens on November 7th and 4 of us would like to head over to Patmos. I'm having trouble finding schedules for ferries from either Sámos or Léros, the schedules seem to stop after October 31st. I've also noticed that a lot of the hotels on Patmos appear to close starting in November.

My initial thought was to fly from Athens to either Sámos or Léros and then take a ferry to Patmos. Figuring 2 or 3 nights there and then heading back to Athens.

Any help or suggestions on finding ferry schedules for the month of November, and what hotels might be available then, will be greatly appreciated.

I would only make this long side-trip to Patmos if you are sincerely interested in the history of St. John, or if you have family history there. Otherwise, it's not that much different from other islands. Since Leros is in the same island chain with Patmos, it has more ferry service than Samos does. Blue Star Ferries has the nicest boats, but any boat that gets you there is fine. It does not surprise me that they have not yet published November schedules and you may have to wait several months to find those. I would expect them to be similar to the January schedules at Blue Star, which run three days per week.
