We preferred Naoussa to Parikia and stayed a little outside at Kanales.

Note that "early may" this year will be Orthodox Easter week.
Friday 3, Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 will be public holidays in Greece.
It is the most important holiday in Greece, many Greeks go to the islands to visit their families and celebrate Easter
May 1 is also a public holiday and a day without ferries.
I admit that personally I hate Naoussa. If I had to choose, and without a car, I would stay in Parikia .

I have no complaints staying at Polos Hotel twice in Parikia. Very convenient location, very close to the port.
