Paros for 7 hours on way from Naxos to Milos

Working out the details of our upcoming trip.

We are on Naxos for 6 full days 7 if you include day of arrival.
On day 8 we are going from Naxos to Milos via late ferry giving us the whole day on Naxos... (This is in Mid July)
but I was considering as a fun alternative taking a ferry to Paros arriving at 1020am and spending the day on Paros getting the ferry from Paros to Milos that evening at 820pm (same arrival time as if we left from Naxos)

We would not be staying in Paros -- just going for a day trip on the way to Milos. Explore Parika.

Thoughts? Just thinking of this as a fun add on

Trip is 30 days = 12 days crete, 7 days naxos, 6 days, 5 days athens (includes travel days).

Verify on Google Maps that there are luggage storage facilities near the port. There were when I visited in 2014. Parikia is very nice and authentic, full of restaurants.

It appears that there is luggage storage across from the port on the other side of the windmill... this is what I have gathered from other sources.

We are probably going to do it... not sure yet. We are in Naxos and if we love it would hate to short change another day!

My hotel on Milos is fine with late check in and have a car that can pick us up!

Thank you for the replies!

Paros deserves much more than a few hours, but if you insist you can leave your luggage in one of the travel or ferries ticket agencies in Parikia (look near the windmill). With enough time you can go by bus to Naoussa which is a village / port north of Paros and is quite popular with tourists for its Mykonos-style atmosphere
