There is no better place than other to stay in Paros. It depends on your preferences, which you haven't given.

I have been to Paros quite often and stayed in different places, each place has its pros and cons.

The east coast is where you will find the best beaches.
From Molos and down to Drios (Golden beach at Kryssi Akti is the biggest)

Naoussa to the north is a village with a rather pretty port but now completely devoted to "high-end" tourism with luxury boutiques and restaurants at exorbitant prices. And the beaches there are small, ugly and very exposed to the Meltemi, the north wind.

If you don't have a car, Parikia, the capital is where all the island's buses depart from.

Aliki in the very south is a charming village with a small port. Family atmosphere and small friendly beach.

Apart from the seaside there are also typical villages:
Lefkes the old capital, Prodomos, Marpissa, Marmara, Drios, etc.

From Punta in the southwest of the island you can take the boat and go for the day to Antiparos. The crossing takes 15 minutes and there are boats every 30 minutes in summer.

Hotel or Airbnb is also up to you.
There are many more accommodations such as villas, apartments or studios run by locals than hotels. Lots of Airbnbs too.

personally, after about 100 or 120 nights spent on the Greek islands I have never slept in a hotel.

Rates range from 60€/night for a small studio to more than 1000€/night for a large villa with swimming pool.
Your wallet will choose.

Hands down, Parikia. This is the biggest town and most restaurants don't just cater to tourists. It's less superficial than Naoussa.
