A group of 4 are considering a day trip to Corinth. We would like it to spotlight I for on Paul but are interested in other aspects too. Amy recommendations of a really good tour for this area.

I did a tour through Shire Excursions Group that picked up at Rome Hotels. It briefly stopped at Corinth Canal and then went to Ancient Corinth. I found it wasn’t quite as exciting as I expected. It came at the end of a three week trip in which I had visited many ruins and locations related to Paul. Will you be visiting other sites as well?

Are you looking for a group tour or are you driving yourselves.
You have more flexibility to visit other sites if you are driving yourselves. For instance, high above ancient Corinth you can visit the fortress of Acrocorinth. It has amazing 360 views over the countryside.
At the Corinth Canal there is a hiking path along the left side of the canal. There is interesting stuff there including what looks like a machine gun nest, an abandoned rail line and a place on the path where you can see the scratches in the rocks where the keels of the boats that were dragged over the area before the canal was built.
