Hi! We are vising Turkey & Greece later this year. There is a concert that I would LOVE to see at Olympic Stadium in Athens during this timeframe, however, I am confused as to the tickets and the lack of seat assignments. Does anyone know if GA (general admission) tickets for concerts here are standing only or just first-come-first-serve seats? My husband definitely is not in for a standing experience!
I appreciate any guidance that you can provide.

I do not know the answer but can confirm that the seats are essentially bleachers so don't think they could have assigned seating. When we toured the stadium we sat on the marble seats briefly and I noted that they do not have a back, and obviously they are hard ... so just wanted to point out that even with seats, it might not be comfortable.

Denise, I think the OP is talking about the modern Olympic Stadium, the one that was built in the 80s, not the Panathenaic Stadium with its marble bleachers built in the late 5th century BC.

And I can't imagine the members of Guns N' Roses who will be there on July 22 performing in Olympian costumes. :-)
