Hello all! My fiancé and I will be going to Greece for our honeymoon and need a bit of help. We would really like to see Olympia while we are in the country, but we are having a hard time finding a reasonably priced tour. Any suggestions?
Has anyone taken the bus from Athens to Olympia ? Was this complicated? Were there many transfers? I read in Rick’s book that there may be only one transfer in Pyrgos, is that the case?
Does anyone have any suggestions of something else we could do to get there? I did drive through/around Ireland last year, but am a little apprehensive of renting a car and driving to Olympia.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! We are trying to finalize our trip plans to book rooms for our stay.
On another note, has anyone taken the bus to Delphi from Athens? I heard this may be easier if we want more time than a tour allows. Thoughts?
