We keep refining our itinerary to hit the places we want to go and be as logistically efficient as possible. Rick's book says if your driving, one day and night is fine for Olympia. We plan to head to Nafplion and Hydra at the end of the week. I'm trying to figure out what else we could do in the Olympia area and/or that side of the Peloponnese before heading to Nafplion for 3 days. Thoughts/suggestions? I'm open to all ideas, thanks in advance!

Don't forget that during the first half of October the archaeological sites close at 6:30 p.m.
From Athens it takes around 4 hours to reach Olympia by car (without the breaks which can be frequent if you want to enjoy the region). So try to be in Olympia before 5 p.m.
