November travel Hydra / Peloponnese / Athens - suggestions?

Last minute opportunity to do a big ship Greek Isle ship tour end of October – scrambling now to figure out my land tour of another week at the back end. We get off in the Piraeus Port on Sun Nov 7 at 8AM. I cannot locate how I would get to Hydra from Piraeus that day (not on BlueStar) – do the boats from Piraeus to Hydra stop that time of year?
Any recommendation for a Hydra one night hotel on Nov 8th?
How to book a Hydra to Peloponnese trip back to land?
Idea is to then get a rental car back at the Peloponnese port that Monday and drop car off back near Athens center city Wednesday or Thursday? Idea was stay in Peloponnese for two nights – would you stay in Nafplion for both nights – are the Peloponnese worthy of three nights? What locations would you stay and what would you visit?

Then my idea was to drive over to Delphi and stay the night in that area if I only did 2 day in Peloponnese. Is Delphi worth the night – or any other thoughts maybe go to Olympia or other location?
Then plan was to stay and tour in Athens flying out early Sunday.

Appreciate any thoughts or recommendations.

Ferries leave several times a day from Piraeus to Hydra, all year. The companies are Hellenic Seaways (can recommend) and Alpha Lines (never taken). Check out this info site: https://ca.directferries.com/piraeus_hydra_ferry.htm

Hydra for one night?!! What a waste! Hydra is not a box to check; it requires time to absorb and get into its ways. But I can recommend Pension Alkionides. A couple of minutes up from the harbour. Quiet little courtyard and nice rooms. https://www.alkionidespension.com/

There is apparently a ferry from Hydra to Ermioni on the Peloponnese, but never taken it. Again see https://ca.directferries.com/ermioni_hydra_ferry.htm

I agree that that one night on Hydra is a waste of time. If you are basically just stopping there for the night and then moving on, it's hardly worth the time and effort of getting there. Wouldn't it make more sense for you to just stay on the mainland?

You both have convinced me that I need longer in Hydra (thanks for the passion!). The bad news is the delightful Alkionides Pension that was recommended looks like it closes November?

Also I can not get the Ferry schedule from Piraeus to Hydra on Nov 7 - I am wondering if that too stops running November?

October is pretty much the end of the season on most islands except Crete. Expect many accomodations and restaurants to be closed.

Some of the information in this thread about traveling the Greek islands off season might be of interest to you.

Two nights for Peloponnesian Peninsula is not enough time? It is filled with so many famous historic sites. You need at least a week. If you focus on Napflio and surrounding area, you need at least four full days so five nights.
