Does anyone know of a reasonably priced hotel or restaurant with a night view oh the Acropolis and/or do you need to be a guest at the Hotel Attalos to use their roof top bar?

Best restaurant view I ever saw of the Acropolis was from Dionysos restaurant. http://www.dionysoszonars.gr/en/

The Attalos Hotel on Athinas St. has one of the best views of the Acropolis from it's roof top bar/garden. I'm not sure if you have to be a guest there. More than likely just go inside and take the elevator up to the top floor and walk the last flight to the rooftop.
There are lots of other hotels and tavernas with views but I go to the Attalos every year and it's wonderful views are simply spectacular.

The Peacock Restaurant in the Hera Hotel has a nice view. Plus their food is delicious.

Many nearby hotels have rooftop bars and/or restaurants with good Acropolis views. Our experience was with the Herodion but there are many others. I can't imagine why any of them would restrict use to hotel guests, at least while they were serving food and drinks.

We agree, the Peacock rooftop restaurant at the Hera Hotel has a lovely view of the Acropolis. The accommodations were wonderful as well.

You can get a good view from the Acropolis Museum's rooftop restaurant. Right now the website only shows winter hours (Nov-Mar), open Friday till midnight, Sat-Sun till 8 pm. Summer hours are probably longer.
