Hoping to travel from Naxos to Delphi in the same day, in early June. We’re thinking ferry and bud, but maybe ferry and car rental. Anyone know how feasible this is? Ferry schedules don’t go out nearly that far, so I can’t tell how early we’d be able to get into Piraeus. Is there any place to rent a car in Piraeus or would we need to go into Athens? Thx!

Early June, if no major schedule changes for 2025, there is a Blue Star ferry coming from Santorini with a stop at Naxos in the morning. It arrives in Piraeus in the middle of the afternoon. (let's say 3pm).
There are quite a few car rental companies at the Port of Piraeus, I have never rented in Piraeus but you can just search for them on Google Maps.
The journey by car to Delphi should then take 2h30 if there is not too much traffic (expect more like 3h).
But the fastest option would be to take a flight Naxos→Athens and rent a car at the airport. The advantage is also that you can already see the flight schedules and book.

6+ hrs on a boat or 50 minutes on a plane.
Given you want to be in Delphi that day, I do not understand why you would consider the boat.
Taking a boat means, as best i can see, getting to Delphi around 7 PM, IF traffic treats you well.

We went from Crete to Delphi in one day. We flew and then rented a car at the airport.
I agree that it makes sense to do it the same from Naxos.

Thanks folks. Was hoping to save some money by taking the ferry, but looks like flight and then rental car is the way to go. Works out better for later too, as our next stop after Delphi is Germany, via the airport- so we can just drop off the car back there.
