Our DD, 9, is a great traveler and loved our trip to Paris/Loire/Normandy last year but I'm a bit worried about ancient ruins fatigue in Greece for her so I'm trying to line up a couple different activities. Came across a couple cooking classes for Naxos. Does anyone have experience with Basilikos, Perivoli (farm based), Vioma (home based), or Platia? A few negative reviews about Basilikos makes me want to steer away from that one (they basically say lovely family but not a class per se; it sounds like you do some basic chopping and then they send you out for a hike and then come back for the meal they prepared).
We're planning on doing a couple of the village drive routes and the reviews for Eggares Olive Oil museum sound great. Found another place to do a flight of cheese tasting.
We will be there in mid-April--is that too early for any kind of boat tours or sailing excursions I see advertised?
Thanks for the advice.
