Take a look at Hotel Aetoma. Every aspect of our stay there was terrific. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at Hotel Agamemnon in Nafplio. It is on the waterfront promenade with great views. It is family owned and if you have a car there is street parking if you can find a spot.

We loved our stay at Omorfi Poli Pension located in the pedestrianized neighborhood. The location is excellent and very convenient. Parking is in a community parking lot about a 5-minute walk from our hotel. We never had problems finding a parking spot. We had breakfast every morning on their patio. It's a wonderful place for breakfast.

You'll need to research on your own.... have you explored https://www.visitnafplio.com yet??? it is the superb NON-commercial website created by a Scandinavian expat who knows Nafplio better than ANYONE. Click every lilnk! Under the heading "really useful information" she tells you "where to stay" and "Where to eat" etc. ALL are right-on. She's no longer listing Omorfo Poli, which K Woo loved & which i used to recommend -- because someone reported that they'd sold their best bldg in the 2nd one was inferior. Alas. Anyway, she has other relilable suggestions.

BTW, when you want best help, please give specifics! Advice can differ sharply depending on whether you come in "shoulder season"" (May/early June or Mid-Sept on) rather than High Season... and whether you're coming in 2026, or wisely planning far in advance for 2027. If looking far enough ahead, Hotel Agamemmnon is the absolute winner -- and not super $$.

Also -- helpful to know how "spry" you are ... Marianne is up near the Top of town, looking down... you can drive up there & park OK, but to go down for dining, nightlife etc, you walkd down AND back UP many stairsteps! Do look at photos. If you r OK with that, Pension Eleni is a very authentic, non-luxe place on a square, up high. Back in the day, I dearly loved family-owned Hotel Leto atop the town -- but it was taken over, became Nuovo Leto, a very different place up there.

About beaches, parking etc -- all the answers are spelled out beautifully in Visit Nafplio. Please read carefully! and we won't have to spend time typing the same info .. it's all there... including pix, such as the wonderful water-level walk around the peninsula point, to reach the "town Beach" of Arvinitia.

That's disappointing about Omorfi Poli. I won't suggest it any more.

Another vote here for Hotel Agamemnon. My wife and I spent a couple nights there last October and loved it. The views from our room were spectacular! The included breakfast was good as was the restaurant. My favorite memory of the hotel was going out for my morning walk around the port before most people were awake, then sipping coffee right outside the hotel on a bench by the water.
