My husband and I would like to stay in Nafplio and rent a sailboat for a couple of days to visit the nearby islands. My husband has a sailing license. Are there companies in town the charter small sailboats for a few days at a time?

Google is wonderful... I put in "Day boat rentals Nafplio" and look what came up!

100+ boats available The tips in the search page said minimum for boats is about €400 look for smallest boat/and off season.
Did you try google? I recommend it!

Hello,
Thank you for the website. Yes, I found the same site earlier before posting. Only a couple of the boats are in Nafplio and I believe all come with Captains. I was hoping to find out if there were any small companies that do day rentals (hopefully sailboats) that allow you to captain your own boat. We went to Hvar Croatia several years ago and were able to find boats (small motor boats) in the harbor for rent at a good price. That is what I'm trying to find out in this forum. Thank you!!!

HAve you booked a hotel yet? I've always found that the owners of the smaller family-owned hotels always know the best stuff ... for instance, traditional Greek music is a sometime thing, but these hoteliers can tell you, such-an-such a place usually has a guitarist & a zither around on Tuesdays, at about 8 pm. Even the larger hotels, the desk people can be helpful, if you chat them up.
