I was thinking about a day trip from Naxos. Which is a less crowded scene that will give a different vibe from Naxos. We will have 2 teenagers and will have stayed on Santorini a few nights. Not looking to compete with Cruise ship patrons and wall to wall people. Will not be going to beach clubs or shopping. Which is nicer, and why? Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks ;)
Paros, definitely. Mykonos will be way too crowded, and it's also a lot more expensive and set up for the shopping and partying at the beach. Also, from Paros you can actually take the local shuttle ferry across to Antiparos, where you will find a charming seafront village at their port.

You want to go to Paros then. Blue Star Ferries has a boat departing Naxos at 9:30 AM arriving in Paros at 10:15 AM then departing at 15:15 (3:15p) and another ferry at 22:00 (10P).
Check out the Small Cyclades for something alternative to Mykonos (why?!?) and Paros which is not a bad choice but the Small Cyclades are definitely a "different vibe"
