Mykonos In early October

I am going on a escorted Greece trip in early October.

I was wondering what is the best way to get from Myconian K Hotels to Mykonos center? I am thinking of doing the Mykonos walking tour from RS book.

The next day I will have the afternoon and evening free. I was thinking of spending this time on the beach with a beach lounger, umbrella and have dinner. At this time of year is (October) there a warmer, calmer, better beach that I could try? What would be the best way to get there?

there is a bus that goes around every half hour in the summer that goes from Ornos beach to multiple stops and to Mykonos Town. Ornos beach has the beach umbrellas and tons of restaurants on the beach. Ornos is a really nice beach to go to. Also, you may want to dowload Aegian Taxi app and use it just like Uber. I highly recommend the app as you can use it everywhere. the bus was 1.80 euro for each way last summer, not sure now.
