music in Kinidaros

Hello. My husband and I love to hear live local music in countries we visit and just learned that the town of Kinidaros on Naxos has quite a musical history. Does anyone know where (and at what time of day) we might hear some live music there? We'll be staying in Chora and renting a car for one of our four nights stay in Naxos. Our itinerary for the driving day may include Apollonas, Koronos, Aparanthus and Filoti. Perhaps we could add Kinidaros on our return to Naxos' west coast (or cut out one of the other towns if this would have us moving too quickly). There's a good chance we'll be renting our car (from DriveTime) late at night the night before we need it so we can operate on "Greek time" and then return it late at night on our driving day. My other concern is driving in the dark from Kinidaros back to Chora (if music at Kinidaros was at night) - would that be safe? We're renting an automatic and did manage to drive safely on our trip last spring to Ireland with its wild extremely tight winding roads and crazy fast speed limits (not to mention driving on both the opposite side of the car and of the road from what we're used to in the U.S!

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I think that musical events in Kinidaros are mostly organized by the local cultural association (O Apikrantos) during specific events (local or religious festival) or the arrival of a famous Greek singer, as here:

Once in Naxos, ask about musical events on the island

However, if you go there, many Naxians as well as myself recommend the restaurant "Stou Vasilarakiou"
It's here, immediately on the left when you arrive in Kinidaros

As for the road to get there, yes it is sometimes winding but not narrow and in my opinion perfectly safe, even at night, if you are careful and if you have not drunk too much Tsipouro after the meal. :))

If you have any doubts, go there during the day rather than in the evening.

I also recommend to rent a car for at least 2 days. The island is big, in just one day you won't have time to see much

Thanks so much, JoLui. (Not sure why I can't see your reply here after I signed in, but I did see it via my email.)
