Santorini hotel ideas

Depends what you want. We loved Hotel Aethrio in Oia. An oasis behind a non-descript gate and wall on a walking path from the parking lot to the centre of Oia. Nice pool. Our room had a very nice large deck with sunset views over the Aegean. Its not on the caldera side, but that was fine for us - much less expensive and in Oia the sunset views to the west are better than the southern views to the caldera anyway. https://www.aethrio.gr/

We were just in Santorini last week. Janet recommended Hotel Mylos in Firostefani and it was perfect! Rooms are small but we did not stay in the room that much; just need the room to shower and sleep. Great room with a view of the sea and Mina was the best host! The location is perfect and just a short walk to Firo and the bus pickup area is 50 meters away. Keep in mind that it is hard to bring your luggage but if you hire a car then the driver will take your luggage to your room. I have more to say about Mylos Hotel but I am off to the Acropolis now!
