Maybe these will get you started. Add in Before Midnight, My Life in Ruins, Never on Sunday.
Zorba the Greek!!! More "Greek" than say Mama Mia or Shirley Valentine which are OK but Zorba offers a more authentic Greece albeit c 1960s.
Wow, I'd forgotten all about The Big Blue, I loved that movie! I'll have to track that down and watch it again.
My favorite movie about Greece isn't a rom-com or a 1950s oldie... it was made by Italians, and is called "Mediterraneo." I think you might find it on Netflix. It tells SO much about the authentic Greek culture. The plot has an Italian Platoon in WW II being dropped off on an isolated Greek Island to hold & fortify it. All the Greek men are off fighting on the front in the Balkans. Only families & elderl there. Well, we all know about Italians military skills (Not) and guess what? The Italians find themselves under Greeks' control -- the fascination is how these Italians gradually, unknowingly, begin to "turn Greek" and how it changes their lives. Very insightful, right to the end.
Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants 1 & 2. Filmed in Oia, Santorini.

"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" isn't set in Greece but involves a lot of Greek culture. And it's fun. And there's a part two if you liked it. :-)
Guns of Navarone is an absolute classic, when the ships horns start going in the final scene, the hairs on my arms always stand on end. Must of seen it at least 8 times. Brilliant
Yes! I think Mediterraneo is a terrific movie about Greeks AND Italians.
