Mountain town to visit along my Peleponnese route?

I'm just a couple of weeks away from leaving for Greece and have a fine-tuning question. I'm wondering if there's an interesting and/or charming mountain town/village along the highway route between Gythio and Nafplio. I'm a woman navigating and driving solo, so I want to stick to main roads as much as possible. Here's my plan for the Peleponnese:

DAY 14: From my hotel in Kineta, morning visit to Corinth and Acrocorinth, then drive to Gythio, Overnight Gythio
DAY 15: Visit Limeni, Aeropoli, Oitylo, maybe end the day with a swim at Mavrouvouni Beach, Overnight Gythio
DAY 16: Driving to Nafplio, Stop to visit Mystras, maybe a mountain town?, Overnight Nafplio
DAY 17: Day in Nafplio, Palamidi Fortress, Overnight Nafplio
DAY 18: Visit Tiryns, Mycenae and Epidaurus, Overnight Nafplio
DAY 19: Relax and savor my last day in Greece, Overnight in Nafplio
DAY 20: Depart early morning for ATH airport and a couple of weeks in Jordan

What are your thoughts and/or suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi there,
From Mystras go east towards the sea. Those villages are all mountainous and gorgeous to visit: Karyes, kastanitsa (I have hiked there) and Astros, a charming seaside village.

On Day 18 you can skip Mycenae as it is on your way back to Athens. You can do Tiryns which is 5 or less klm from Nafplion and Epidaurus. By the way, take the combined ticket of 20 euros valid for Mycenae, Tiryns, ancient Asini, Palamidi, Museum of Nafplio and Byzantine Museum of Argos and lasts for 3 days from its issuance.

Enjoy :D
