It's not in Monemvasia but right opposite with a view of Monemvasia.
It's a little dated, can accommodate 5 people and cost €90/night last May.

I must admit that it's not the best airbnb where I stayed, anyway we didn't like Monemvasia, too touristy, no local life other than the tourist business

To be more specific, I am looking to stay one night on "the Rock". I'm thinking of something like Malavasia Traditional Hotel or Byzantino hotel, sea view room with balcony. I'll probably pick one of those, but was just wondering if folks here had any other recc's.

We have stayed at Byzantino twice. They have renovated period rooms in several different locations in the village. You really do feel like you have stepped back into the past. Both times we had great sea views. Just ask them to be sure you get a room with sea views.
