Milos to Athens Ferry vs Flight

I need to go to Athens, from Milos, on May 28th. I can only find ferries that leave late in the afternoon, with arrival time after 8 p.m. in Athens port.

I am considering booking a flight from Milos to Athens, in order to get an earlier arrival.
Or, will earlier ferry times come available closer to my date?
Thank you for your help.

As I recall the ferries to Athens departed late afternoon or early evening. That can change but I would fly. I prefer to get to my next destination fast. The aircraft at turboprops and fill up fast. There are seldom seat sales so when you find a suitable flight book it.

I would go with a flight using Aegean Airlines.

According to their website you can get a flight leaving at 9:40 in the morning and arrive in Athens at 10:20 a.m. for 31.30 euros.

That's quite a deal and you'll save time with a flight that takes less than 1 hour compared to 4+ hours on a ferry.

Take the plane!
