Milos in April / drive from Delphi to Olympia

I’m traveling to Greece in April and wanted to spend 3 nights on Milos after we arrive. Since this is the shoulder season, will restaurants be open this time of the year? We are looking at Pollonia as our location on the island. Thanks for any advice. If too many things in Milos will be closed, what islands will have more things open? Also, I’ve read the road to Olympia from Delphi can be treacherous in the winter, what are the normal road conditions in April?

Last time we were in Milos it was early June and several of the hotels in Pollonia were still just opening after the off season.i The tourist season is quite compact on Milos. I am sure you can find accommodation and food but I think its too early.

Thanks, that was my concern. I really liked the idea of a smaller island and the flight was going to be 3 hrs after we landed so I felt like it would give us plenty of time to clear customs and get something to eat. Originally I had planned to go to Naxos but the first flight out is cutting it close to clearing customs and the next flight out would be much later( we arrive at 9:15am, later flight is at 5:45pm). With it being April, I’m afraid to chance the ferry schedules.
