We just found out our ferry from Milos to Sifnos has been delayed several hours this evening (4 July). Our plane from Athens to Milos arrives at 16:20, ferry departs at 22:00. Does anyone know if there is a bag drop and/or a good restaurant near the port?

You are still lucky it's not canceled and the sea is calm on Milos-Sifnos today.
About luggage, ask at the ticket sales offices or where you will stay for a drink or a meal.
I don't remember a good restaurant on the port, it's up to you to find it!

I'm not sure about the bag drop, but the ferry terminal is in Adamantas, a town with many restaurants within easy walking distance.

Thank you for advice! We will check with the port before finding a place to eat. It’s raining now, hopefully our plane can takeoff to Milos :). The ferry delay might be a blessing in disguise.
