Traveling to Milos in September, should I take my rental car on the ferry or leave it and rent another car in Milos? Will be in Milos for 4 days.

If you take a rental car on the ferry, be aware that:
Not all rental companies allow it.
Those that do allow it can charge extra for insurance
Some ferries do not take cars
Allow extra time to board and disembark the ferry
Add the cost of the ferry ticket for the car, €165 Piraeus↔Milos round trip for the car with Seajets (which is about 4 days of car rental)
You will lose hours of unnecessary car hire during the ferry journey.
If you are picking up the car on the day of the ferry departure, as the ferries depart early in the morning you may have to pay an extra charge for out of hours pick up.
In the event of a breakdown or the slightest need for assistance because of the car, you will be on your own and will not have any assistance for at least a day or two.
