May Day in Greece/Athens

I will be in Athens for a few days, including May Day (Sunday) and May 2nd (observed). I've read about and seen videos of the strikes that happen, including Metra and ferries not operating. I'm planning to visit Hydra -- since May Day is on a Sunday this year, is it more likely that transportation via ferry will be halted on the 1st or 2nd of May?

As the May 1 public holiday is a Sunday this year, it has been officially postponed to Monday May 2.
But don't worry, the ferries will be operating on the 1st and 2nd of May.
