Lovable moderate hotels in Mykonos an Santorini

In Santorini on a moderate budget look at Prekas Apartments in the town of imerovigli - between Fira and oia, a quieter town with some really great hotels for $$$$. This one is much more moderate! Imerovigli also has some top-end restaurants for if you want to let your champagne taste and budget out one night!

In the hotel, rooms are nice but not especially updated, but the caldera views are amazing. There are great view terraces and while they aren’t private to you, you share them with a couple other rooms of the hotel and have your own table so you always have a place to sit and watch the sunset. There’s a small pool overlooking the caldera too. Not a fancy hotel but a setting you will not believe.

What time of year are you talking about? August Moderate is way different than April Moderate. Do you have a number that would be Moderate? My moderate is 100 euro, others on here won't consider a place less then 300 euro/night.

“When” is the missing info and it makes a huge difference. And what price point to you is “moderate”? These are among the more expensive and most heavily touristed locations in Greece. Lovable?

In addition to time of year and your idea of moderate there are additional parameters to consider. How many people are in your group, and how many rooms do you require?

I have a great many reasons to dislike and distrust Airbnb and feel that they are an appropriate option only about 20% of the time. This is one of those times.

In my experience, in Thira, Airbnb worked perfectly for us. Got a beautiful one-bedroom apartment right on the crater edge; heavenly. I think in terms of price and location not to mention the fact that you would likely be able to find something that has multiple rooms so your in-between time could be shared on the balcony.

We were only about 150 meters south of the Three Bells of Fira church. Couldn't have been better.
