It's a shame that the most remote island is missing from the list: the picturesque island of Kastellorizo (aka Megisti), off the Turkish south coast opposite the Turkish port of Kas.
I agree. Kastellorizo is absolutely gorgeous. One of our memorable trips included a stay there, plus Rhodes, Tilos (which is on the list) and Nisyros (which also should be). All four of these islands were connected with the big Blue Star ferry weekly runs to-from Athens.
Take a look at tiny Fourni. You get there by ferry from Ikaria.
